While Lindsay was in Powell River, she volunteered to perform at the Patricia Theatre fund-raiser, what a generous heart.

Lindsay Jane spent her teenage years in Cochrane Alberta hiding out in the high school “band room”, picking up all kinds of instruments and writing songs with them. Lindsay was asked by her graduating class to write a song for the graduation ceremony. In 1999, Lindsay went out with her acoustic guitar and entered The CKUA / Brass Monkey Alberta songwriting contest and took fist place.
In June 2002, Lindsay Jane released her debut album “Starting Today”.
By February of 2003, Lindsay was living in Winnipeg as a member of 3 time Juno Nominated band The Wyrd Sisters. After a year with the band, Lindsay decided to move back to her solo roots, with performances at the CKCU Ottawa Folk Festival, and a hugely successful performance at the Alberta Scene. Lindsay Jane will continue to leave an indelible mark on those who will listen
